I have Microsoft Office Professional 2013 for my Windows 10 PC and I just started getting this message in MS Word 2013 this morning although it has been a few days since I used Word.

“Microsoft Word isn’t your default program for viewing and editing documents.  Do you want to select the file types that Word should open?”

I checked my default apps by file type and all of the related documents related to MS Word, OpenOffice Writer, LibreOffice Writer, etc. are all set to Word 2013.

This isn’t happening with any of my other MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

The last Windows Updates I did were for 2022-05 cumulative updates when AW gave the all clear (DEFCON-4).

How do I get rid of this message besides just telling it not to show up?

    Thanks
