Mini PC questions

I am intrigued by these Mini PCs. Particularly the Giga Brix with an i5 chip. I would like to hear some comments, pro and con. In addition I have a small laptop running Win 7. I was unable to upgrade to Win 10 because some part was not compatible. I was not that upset because everything was fine as it was. If I decide to get a Mini PC can I use the Win 7 OC from the lap top and convert to Win 10? No problem for me since I have an XP OC on a disk and I am not fearful that someone will read my books and/or listen to my music (both I may add in very good taste).

OC = operating system???? (OS)

If the Win7 came with the laptop, no. If it was added later and is either a upgrade or retail version, yes. If OEM version, no.

As for comments they are kind of a laptop in a small box with no keyboard, mouse or screen included. If you work at a desk doing fairly moderate computing and want to tuck the PC behind a nice monitor they work well.

Like the above article implies; You’ll need to know what you are doing.
They are NOT for the average user, but they’re geared more toward businesses with techs that specifically know how to implement them.

But for someone at home they could make excellent media centers if planned and built properly.
