      I have been hit twice in the last month by Java malware, even though I had the latest version/update. MSE caught both: a Java Exploit and a Java Trojan Downloader.
      But what about the ones MSE doesn’t catch?

      If you use OpenOffice or LibreOffice, as I do, you need Java, and Java JRE 7 will not work with it. So, there are plenty of us who do need Java. Also, the National Weather Service Live Radar runs on Java. That site does use Java JRE 7. So you guessed it, I have to maintain two versions of Java JRE on this computer. Thank heavens for Secunia PSI-2 with its auto-Updaters.
