Anyone have a solution to  my herky Jerky mouse that hangs intermittently whenever my external USB harddrive is attached?  It has not always done this, but only started recently, within the last month or so.  I am running Win 10 Pro 64bit, AMD A6-3620 w/Radeon HD graphics processor.

Whenever I disconnect the external USB HD, the mouse action is normal and smooth.

I tried different USB ports, but didn’t help.

Try uninstalling the USB devices from “Device Manager” and then reboot. Windows will reinstall the drivers.

Test the hard disk on another machine to see if it’s the hard disk causing the problem.

      cheers, Paul

What sort of a mouse connection do you have ? USB ? BT ? wired ?
If USB there could be USB conflict.
Uninstall mouse driver and either ‘check for new hardware’ or re-boot the PC.

USB3 interferes with 2.4Mhz. Attached is an Intel white paper but still applies for amd.
