Is there a reliable program that can move actual programs (applications) from my current win 7 desktop to a new desktop which has win 7 already installed. For what’s it worth, my older machine is on a hard drive and the new machine has a SSD. Older machine is 500gb, SSD is 160gb, I have about 30 gb of application based data.

    Thanks.

There is PickMeApp, which is supposed to be able to do this. I’ve found that it doesn’t work with all applications and it’s not free, but YMMV.
