    In Microsoft Edge, open the sidebar by pressing Ctrl+ Shift+ (.), or selecting the Bing Chat icon in the upper right corner of the Microsoft Edge toolbar.

    Select the Detach from Edge icon at the bottom of the sidebar to move the sidebar to your Windows desktop.

    Once moved, you can access all your sidebar apps, including Bing Chat and Compose, from your Windows 10 desktop….

        I should have read better: Windows 10 only. I wasn’t expecting that.

      I certainly don’t have one, Edge or it’s sidebar that is, as the browser is detached from W10/11 and not permitted on other OSes.
      However, the following linked article, may provide a clue as to why it ain’t workin’..

      Is Edge ignoring 116.0.1938.54 policies?
