GuestMarch 25, 2011 at 10:03 pm #57105Here’s a tip,
If you don’t like the way Mozilla set up the buttons (i.e. home, bookmarks, ect.) or if you want to add buttons like “subscribe to feed” go to.
Firefox drop-down menu > options > toolbar layout… and go from there.
if you have the menu bar, (File, edit, view…)
View > Toolbars > customize.I hope this helps,

I was wondering for a day where my AVGfree 2011 went. I get a message from Microsoft just now that IT WAS TURNED OFF and THEY ARE URGING ME TO SWITCH TO MICROSOFT ESSENTIALS. I went thru the hoops to put AVG back on, I hope. I don’t like such heavy handed Microsoft “urging”. The final warning is that they are not monitoring it. OK. So? -

GuestMarch 31, 2011 at 2:41 am #57110Compatibility with Windows 7 and Vista seems to be excellent. But on Windows XP SP3 if you have Limited User Accounts, DO NOT install Firefox 4 until and unless the FEBE Extension is brought back into working condition! I learned that lesson the hard way on my own laptop — I had to rebuild from scratch in two Limited User Accounts.
Maybe the developers at Mozilla should concentrate less on adding fluff like Personas, and get back to basics of making the upgrade installations actually work in Limited User Accounts. And stop messing with backup Extensions!

GuestApril 4, 2011 at 11:30 am #57112Any way to reconfigure where it places new tabs? With 3.5, every time you opened a link in a new tab, the new tab was added to the far right of your existing tabs. Starting with 3.6 and continuing with 4.0, new tabs are placed to the immediate right of the current tab not the far end of the line. As such, I am still using 3.5.xx and won’t “upgrade” until I at least find an option to alter this behavior.

GuestApril 29, 2011 at 6:59 pm #57113I just un-installed Firefox 4.0 because it was causing too many problems in Vista Premium. Java was iffy, worked only when it wanted to and many of the buttons wouldn’t work, mostly the ones that I needed them to work. I checked it out by using two different browsers and I mean different. One of which I know nothing about but decided to try it just for that reason.
The browser is Avant, I believe that this one is a IE knock-off because after installing it, I was asked questions pertaining to IE. But it worked for what I wanted it for without any problems. I use Juno mail online and was unable to update information in my account for the past 4 months because only some of the buttons worked in Firefox 4.0. Therefore I downloaded and installed this browser and went to Juno and logged in and low-and-behold it worked for that problem. The browser itself is very slow but it gets the work done!
