My Outlook email is trying to send messages when there is nothing to send in the Outbox.  Outlook still functions properly otherwise but it is really annoying and causes slow response.  I had this same situation a while back and, after protracted consultation with MS Support, my existing profile was deleted and a new created and that seemed to solve the problem.  Unfortunately, I lost my address book contacts in that process but that’s a whole ‘nother story.  In any case, that bogus send error has now reappeared and I would like to get rid of it.  BTW, there are numerous instances of this problem on the ‘Net but no solutions that I could find.  Any suggestions/solutions would be appreciated!
