I just tried to follow the video link in the newsletter from Susan Bradley. I was very confused and am asking and hoping that the steps for both the Windows 10 Pro and the Home version editions will be posted in type. There is just no way I can follow that video. Is there a typed version of the steps Susan Bradley was talking about?

    Thanks

I apologize.  The extended heat in my area must have gotten to my brain. I could have sworn I linked them in the article but clearly I didn’t.  Try using these registry keys and see if they are easier?

Note that the group policy setting for Windows 10 won’t be there until either the optional update is install or September’s security updates are installed.  I’ll remind you at the end of the month to do the group policy way if that’s your preference.

Click on the search box and type in edit group policy. Next, scroll down to Computer Configuration, then to Administrative Templates, then Windows Components then click on Windows Update then find the Windows Update for Business folder. Find the setting for Select the target Feature Update version. Click on enabled, fill in the Product version in the first box (“Windows 10”) and then the feature release version you want to keep (i.e. 21H1)

Thanks but I didn’t get any email notification from Susan’s replies. I did get one from your reply.

I set everything for Windows 10 version 21H2. Does that mean that there will be no more major updates for Windows 10 like 22H1, etc.?
