      Thanks for replying to my email re: changing Italian set up to English. The solution here is not really a useful one because any “inexpensive” system isn’t going to be coming in Vista Ultimate or Enterprise edition. Thus one can’t change the language used without great expense. At this point I was looking how to do this on a PC.
      I can tell you that an option that is available in Italy when buying a laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium is to buy a ASUS Laptop, when you start it up you have the option of starting it in English, German, French, Dutch, or Italian. We bought a laptop and opened it in English, no problem. If you want you can reformate(of course lose everything), and restart in the language of your choice.

      Fascinating! You can’t do that ASUS trick in Thailand.

      Yep, Microsoft charges extra for multiple languages – in fact, it’s one of the very few good reasons for buying Vista Ultimate.
