Out of curiosity, I peeked inside my ASUS Prime X570-p@1405 motherboard BIOS/UEFI and found that I do have TPM capability, but its disabled by default.
I also see this note “AMD fTPM is a hardware TPM 2.0 implementation integrated in AMD AGESA code for credential storage and key management. the firmware TDM key will be stored in AMD AGESA code data region once you enable AMD fTPM and Windows BitLocker for drive encryption. Please note that when the recovery key is lost or when the BIOS ROM chip is replaced, the system will not boot into the operating system and the data will stay encrypted and cannot be restored”
I currently have the most current version of Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2, and no plans to upgrade to Windows 11. But its good to know that I potentially can, in the future, upgrade to Windows 11 if it becomes a more desirable alternative
