Need recommendations for good address software. I find the envelope addressing function in Word awkward. Are there any good software recommendations for doing envelopes?

Do you want to use this software within Word, or can it be separate?

        It can be separate.

In that case, I will move this thread to the Software Finds and Wants forum; it probably has a better chance of getting replies there.

WOPR contains several utilities including enveloper. It integrates with Office but it is not free.

ok, it looks like there are two versions: one for xp and one for office 2003. The problem I have is, my desktop has office xp and my three laptops have office 2003 student edition. So I would need both versions or remove office xp on my desktop and add office 2003.

        Correct?

That is right, each version of WOPR is designed to only work with the corresponding version of Office.

The Avery (forms people – Avery Dennison) has a very good free package – the Avery Wizard for addressing various things. It is set up for Avery Labels, but once you get the label dimensions – it works for any thing. If you are interested in Full sheet labels – check it out on their web site.
