I have an OST file for which there is no longer an exchange account. Is there a way that I can open the file in Outlook without being attached to Exchange?

There are programs available that convert an OST file to a PST file. See the links at access ost file outside exchange – Bing. I can’t vouch for any of these as I’ve never needed one.

NOTE: These all appear to be commercial programs (i.e. not free).

Having spent hundreds of dollars and dozens of hours trying to help someone recover his OST file after his mailbox was deleted, I can say “probably at least in part.” But using a backup of the mailbox would be much faster.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
