I have a PST folder with a lot of duplicates in it. I want to “bleed out” the dups. Is it possible to backup the various folders (contacts to contacts, calender to calender) on a big drive, then create an entirely NEW PST and reimport the contacts, calenders etc. and instruct it to delete duplicates? Does anyone have any warnings on this process (or an easier way)??

why not just delete the dups? If they were created later than the orginial, you can sort by created or modified dates and delete the extras in one swoop (or more the orginials to a new pst). (View > current view > customize to add the fields)

I don’t recommend importing and exporting, that is one cause of dups – add a new pst using file new and move the items to it. if you hold shift or control, you can select groups of items and move many at once.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
