No Previewer in Excel 2010

I am using MS Excel 2010 with Windows 8.1 and the problem I have is as follows

This file can’t be previewed because of an error in MS Excel previewer.

I have tried re-installing several times to no avail

Any Ideas Please

You will have to re-save the Excel file for this to work.

Hi Braddy

In Explorer, the preview pane opens another session of the (Excel) Application in order to display the file.
If the file is password protected, you won’t be able to see a preview. (You wouldn’t expect it to, right?).
Check if the file you are having difficulty with is password protected.

I am not refering to a specific file, I can’t see any files in the preview pane.

Hi All

I know I am in my 73rd Year and suffer what are called Senior moments, but after posting my reply to Zeddy, I double checked only to find previewer is now working.
