I would like to know if there is an application that would allow me to put a note in any application so that it would be saved with the files from that application but not alter that file.
Example, I woul like to put a note on an email message that I have recieved and read. I don’t want to modify the message but when I open that message I want to see the note that says something like “I phoned and disussed with sender on 6/4/10 and decided to ….”
I might like to put a note on a spread sheet. Or on a Word document.
I would then like to be able to search for and index the notes through the original application.
