I have forwarded emails to several groups for quite a few years. All of a sudden yesterday evening I had several notify me saying that they received 25 of the SAME email …
and one said 15 of the same one. I’ve not heard back from others – but I’m assuming they are not checking emails this late?
Also. seems there are about 50 that went to my Bounced Folder in Outlook.
I have no clue WHY this happened! And need to make sure it won’t happen again!

I have Xfinity/Comcast for Internet and Emails … I send and receive through Microsoft Office Outlook 2010. However, to send Large groups I use a Sever – emaildodo.com … (Similar to Constant contact) I’ve used DoDo server for 7-8 years … works great … no issues … so I don’t think that’s the issue.

Best I can tell this happened to ONE large group of about 200.
And I know one email to a group – not through DoDo also had the same issue with about 20 going to her instead of ONE!
So … that makes it appear the issue is NOT DoDo related.

HELP … I need to send emails in the morning … need to make sure no more issues!
I ran complete Bitdefender Scan overnight … all seems fine …
Just sent couple of emails out … no one replying MULTIPLES Received yet …
    But WHAT WOULD CAUSE THIS?

You need to check your Sent Mail for the user who didn’t go through DoDo. Is their address in 20 times or are there 20 emails?

      cheers, Paul

I think … i managed to get it taken care of … i realized there were numerous emails in the outbox not going out (not sure how i didn’t realize that!!!)
… once i cleared all out of there … so far, seems to be o.k.??

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
Your account can't use all available BBCodes, they will be stripped before saving.
