AskWoody LoungerOctober 31, 2017 at 1:19 pm #142397The VMware fix is mentioned in the Release Notes ~ Flash Player 27 AIR 27 – in the “Fixed issues” section. The “Announcements” section says the update from Microsoft for Windows 8.1 and 10 will be coming later this month (theoretically), and there won’t be an update for Adobe Flash on the next patch Tuesday.

AskWoody_MVPOctober 31, 2017 at 5:49 pm #142535Get the newest Flash 27 updates here (ActiveX for XP/Vista/Win7) (NPAPI) (PPAPI)
Adobe has silently updated this packages to 27.0.0.183 as I’ve just downloaded these updates myself today. The Adobe Flash Player “about” versions page now mentions v27.0.0.183:

AskWoody_MVPNovember 1, 2017 at 3:49 pm #143157KB4051613 is now available for Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 (yup, that’s right, Windows 8 – all versions including Win8 embedded and yes even Win10 v1507 & v1511), which updates Flash Player ActiveX to version 27.0.0.183.
I’m manually downloading the KB4051613 updates from MS Update Catalog and will install them manually on my Win8.1 & Win10 machines. On the Win8x/Win10 PCs, I manually remove/uninstall the old Flash updates and then apply the new Flash updates as I NEVER install the new Flash player activeX Windows Updates over the old ones – that way I have the clean versions of Flash.
