office 365 subsciption problems

Has anyone had any problems sharing the office 365 subscription?
my brother purchased it this weekend and it shows it should have sent me a invite (pending) however nothing comes to me.
we talked to Microsoft and to be honest I don’t think they have a clue.
I goggled it and it seems there are a lot of people having problems but no resolution that I can find.

I purchased Office 365 Home Premium last month to share with five units and could never get an invite to post to my son’s email. I spent about two hours being referred back and forth from Tech to billing but never received any useful knowledge to correct the issue. Just browsing through a Google search of Office 365 share issues it appears that it is a known problem with no resolution. The only consistent response I’ve read is Microsoft indicating it is suggested you use Explorer to log in to your account to send the invites. That also did not work. So … I would be thrilled if someone could post any useful information allowing one to share this software. I’m so not happy with Office 365 and the lack of knowledgeable support.

Have you tried sending to an alternate email address? Have the recipient establish a new account at outlook.com and try it.
