Open in Same Window (Word 2003)

On one of my machines when I open multiple Word docs they open in the same window. On my laptop they open in separate windows.

It’s driving me mad trying to find which option I selected on the first machine to make the laptop open docs in the same window!!

Does anyone know where the option lies??

Replies

Tools | Options…, View tab, Windows in Taskbar check box.
Ticked = each document opens in a separate window and gets its own icon in the task bar.
Cleared = all documents open in a shared application window, and there is only one icon in the task bar.
