Is there a way to get Windows explorer to show the Folders Navigation pane when it opens using a shortcut to a folder?

You need to specify the “/e” command line option for Windows Explorer.
This line will open D: in Explorer.

      Code:
      explorer.exe /e,d:

To modify an existing shortcut you need to add this text to the beginning of the Target field.

      Code:
      explorer.exe /e,

      cheers, Paul
