On Friday 10/21 Opera went into full-screen and would not go back to normal screen. Had to shut Opera down using task-manager. When restarted it came up full-screen again and had to be shut down with task-manager again. Uninstalled Opera via control panel. Uninstall was clean no unusual messages. Down loaded a new copy of OperaSetup from Opera web site. As soon as started received ” The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005), Click OK to close the application” Down loaded again and same result. Ran SFC and CHKDSK, but still failing setup. I suspect there may be a problem with the registry. Tried Ccleaner register cleaner but the problem did not clear. I have always avoided editing the register as I don’t want to brick my computer. I hate to lose all my software by resetting Windows, but maybe someone on the forum can steer me to anything else I can do.
