Outbox instead of sent items (Office/Win XP)

Hi gang,
The “Save a copy in the sent items folder” box is checked. When I send a message a copy goes into my Outbox and stays there. No copy in the Sent Items folder. It also seems that every new message I create goes into the Drafts folder and stays there.

Any clue?
