More of a question rather than a problem to solve (although I may/will need help in setting up bullets and numbering but more on that later on).
What is the difference between Outline Numbered and List Styles?. I have been reading lot aof rticles on this but still confused about it. Shauna Kelly’s article to create a bullet list talks about setting this up using Outline Numbering but I thought I could create the same thing using List Styles!
What I would like to do ideally is create two styles (Bullet and Numbering) with 3 levels. The users of the document could then just either select the style required or use a short-cut to set up their list. I would prefer the users to not see other styles such as ‘List Bullet’. ‘List Bullet 2’, ‘List Bullet 3’, etc. I can create bullets and numbering with different level using the info provided in the Shauna Kelly article. But what I have found is that if I have list and move very first level to the right then it moves all the paragraphs with the same style to the right by one, including where the numbering has been restarted. I have attached 3 graphics to show my problem. Perhaps there is some better way of defining bullets and numbering. Thanks.
