Installed version of Ol16. when i start outlook for the day, it doesn’t automatically sync inbox. In fact just clicking on inbox doesn’t do it. I have to click on some other imap folders, then inbox to get it to sync. after that it ‘usually’, but not always, will auto sync on its own. there is another “outlook” folder, holding a number of pop accounts. Clicking on one of these, then the imap inbox doesn’t do it either. has to be a random imap forlder, then imap inbox to get it to sync first time (and occasionally other times as well).
its a pain having to play this game.
I have 3 computers with same set up and same issue. So I think that uninstalling the account and re-installing is a waste of time.
I don’t know for sure if the imap provider has anything to do with how well outlook works (i don’t know that anything has to do with how well outlook works!) . If not provider related then it must be outlook caused.
any ideas on settings to change?
registry entries to change or create?
