Outlook 2010 can log in to GMail incoming but not outgoing

POP3. And I’m pretty sure I followed GMail’s instructions for setup pretty well. It used to work.

Nothing AFAIK. This is my wife’s email and she hasn’t actually used Outlook to use her GMail from the laptop for a while…she pretty much has been using her phone. Then most recent use it gets new email but won’t send. I checked the config and used the test button…reports login to POP server but SMTP send test fails. I know the password is correct because syhe can log in to the GMail web interface with it. A mystery.
