Owing to age and declining eyesight, I need to get Outlook to display in a larger font than the default setting, which is Segoe UI 10 point. By going to the menu under View| View Settings| Other settings| Column and Row font, I can reset the Column and Row font to 14 point Segoe UI, and the message list is nice and big so I can read it. The trouble is that the View setting resets every night at midnight. I can go back and make the same adjustment, but I’m doing it again the next day. How do I get Outlook to maintain the display settings I want?

AskWoody_MVPNovember 2, 2022 at 7:02 am #2494370It appears that this “feature” has been frustrating Outlook users for many years:
Column Fonts Switch to MS Default at Midnight
But the persistent “littleolady” claims to have found a solution which worked for her:
I went into “View Settings” and then “Conditional Formatting” and changed those settings to match what I had done in “Other Settings” and then used Big or Bigger for the Font portion in those settings. That procedure worked on every computer I have and the problem no longer exists for me.
