We have several Excel Templates created in earlier versions of Office. These templates allow the user to enter the appropriate information then send it to an email distribution group as an email, rather then having to save it and send it as an attachment. Attached is what I’m referring toClipboard01. The only problem we have is occasionally the user will save the file after sending it, which removes the Send function and we go into our backup and restore it from an earlier version. Outside of that the user has no problem opening it, filling it out, and sending it as long as the user has their Outlook open.

Our problem, we have one user that when they try to open one of these templates they get the form, but the Send option is not visible. Others have no problem opening it whether they are using versions 2016, 19, 21, or Office 365. If anyone has a suggestion why this might be happening we would really appreciate your insights.

    Thanks

Found a work-around. Made an Outlook message template, addre the address of the distribution group and inserted a copy of the form in the body of the template. Saved it to the facility’s shared drive and created a s/c for the user. Instructed the user to fill out the form then send it. when they closed, don’t save which makes it ready the next time it’s needed.
