    Hi,

In a multi-paged Visio document, I want one page in the middle to be A3 and the others A4.
    How can I do this?

    Thanks v. much,

    m.q.

      Hi.

When you insert a page, it will prompt you for the page size and orientation. By default this is the same as the printer page, but you can change it. A3 and A4 come under the “Metric (ISO)” option in “pre-defined sizes”.

If your page already exists, you can change it from the “Page” tab on File | Page Setup.

I have to say that I’ve never had different sizes myself, so I wouldn’t know what you need to set the printer paper to, and whether or not it prints out all on the one size paper, even if you have more than one paper tray. It might even be printer dependent, and you are probably best trying it out.

BTW, I’m assuming that you’re using Visio 2000, but it is similar for other versions, if I remember correctly.

      Regards,

      Stuart

I don’t know about Visio 2000, but in my version of Visio Technical 5.0 I tried creating a second page with a different size than page 1. Upon returning to page 1 it now had the same format as page 2. Thus, it looks to me like you can only have one size for all pages.

I guess it must be a new feature for 2000, then. It definitely works there, because I tried it out before posting the message.

So – Visio 2000: yes, you can.
          – Earlier versions: don’t seem to be able to
