My wife’s computer runs Windows XP SP3 and Office 2003. Lately, she has had difficulty with a dialog box pop up which says:
________________________________
Enter Network Password
Server: smtp.gmail.com (sometimes it says pop.gmail.com)
Username: [my wife’s gmail address]@gmail.com
Password: **************
[ ] Save this password in your password list
[OK] [Cancel]

She clears the box and it pops right back up. This has been going on for several days. Today, for another reason, she changed her google password. Now there is an outgoing message that’s hung up and won’t transmit. I suspect that we need to tell Outlook google’s current password. Would typing in her most recent valid google password in the dialog box make the dialog boxes go away? What do you think is the best approach to clear this mess?
