    Here’s what I”ve done:
    >Entered CMOS at bootup
    >Scrolled to “Password Setting”
: at the bottom of the screen the words, “Change/Set/Disable Password” hit enter
    >A Prompt (Red) asking to enter Password.
    >Entered password, hit enter
    >A Prompt asking for Confirmation of password appears, Password confirmed, hit enter
    >A prompt appears indicating to Quit CMOS (Esc) hit Esc key
    >Prompt appears with “Quiting Without Saving (Y/N)? hit “N” hit enter
    >This then appears “F10: Save & Exit Setup”, hit F10
    > Prompt appears (“Save to CMOS & Exit (Y/N)? hit “Y” hit enter

Unit then continues to boot up and into Windows.
When unit is re-booted, it does not call for the password before launching Windows2000???????

    Help!

I suspect this may be more hardware related than W2K – you are trying to protect the computer before W2K even starts.

Can you list your hardware? – PC and motherboard.
