• Pasting Excel Chart into Word

We are pasting Excel charts into a Word document. In Excel, each of the charts inhabits its own sheet, and Autoscale is on. Seemingly at random, the chart will come in very large. Then, the next time it will size correctly. We are going crazy trying to figure out what makes this happen and how to fix it. It doesn’t seem to happen with charts that don’t have their own sheet.

      Fern,

If you paste the charts into cells on a table (without borders) you might be able to limit the expansion.

Another approach that I have had success smile with is to paste the graphic into a text box and remove the lines around the text box so that the graphic looks as if it is stand alone. I have never had to turn the text box into a frame, but you might try that if a simple text box does not work. HTH smile smile smile
