• Pasting into Google URL on Amazon Kindle?

Here’s a simple question (I think), but I don’t know where to ask it, so I would appreciate any help.

I have a Google Sheets spreadsheet where several cells contain URL’s for Google Maps. That is, I can copy the URL directly from the spreadsheet cell to Google URL, then click “Paste and Go” and the map is displayed. On my PC, it works like a charm.

I want to do the same thing on an Amazon Kindle, which uses a version of Android. I can highlight the spreadsheet cell, then select “Copy”, but I’m not sure how to paste this link into a Google URL. There doesn’t seem to be an option to “Paste” or “Paste and Go” when I display Google. It seems like it ought to be simple, but nothing works for me. Can anybody give me some advice? Thanks in advance.

Since Kindle is mostly Android this may still work: If there is a text box where you would like to paste the text please try tapping and holding for a few seconds, a menu with a Paste might appear.

Great !!  Thanks so much – pressing on the text box in fact caused a “Paste” option to appear.
