On days where there are anticipated Microsoft patches, would it be possible to set up a thread stub for reporting and tallying the patches seen in Windows Update Queues and across servers for that particular day? We, as askwoody posters, would be logging the information as we received it on our computers. Although not installed until DEFCON rating deemed acceptable (or certified guinea pig), the information would be useful.

A great idea. I already post on the main blog page whenever patches start rolling out. I should do something to encourage reported sightings.

I don’t mind if you install as soon as they’re out! 🙂 It’s good grist for everybody else.
