I read somewhere about KB4507456 being  a patch you do not want to install. Something about telementry???  I thought the article said it was one of the Tuesday patches for July 9 . I had installed patches for Tuesday but I don’t see that one. The article also said it was a replacement for the KB2952664. Can anyone tell me anything about this patch? Thank you

If you use Windows Update to update your computer, You will get the “Security Quality Monthly ROLLUP” for the month. In July, that patch was KB4507449.

KB4507456 is the July Security-only Update. It is not distributed through Windows Update. It has to be downloaded from the MS Update Catalog and manually installed on the computer. It is used for special purposes, in this case, avoiding telemetry.
But this month, Microsoft included the functionality of KB2952664 (a telemetry patch) in the Security-only update KB4507456.

All this probably has nothing to do with you if you are using Windows Update to update yur computer. The information on that patch is here.
