Same problem on two different systems (1 laptop and 1 desktop):
After applying the Patch Tuesday patches, I was unable to connect to the Internet. Tried ipconfig /release and repair (and /renew) to no avail. The desktop reported unable to clear DNS on the repair approach, but the laptop did not show that error. I could not figure out how to get either to connect to the Internet (both were behind the same DSL wireless router). Desktop is wired to router and Laptop is wireless connection. The router was connected and working fine… something in Windows on the pc prevented the connection for email or Internet. Restored to pre-installation of Patches to regain Internet functionality.
Anyone else having these problems? I am holding off on patching my work pc’s for now.
