Windows Update notifies me that an important update is available. It is new definitions for Microsoft Security Essentials. I attempt to install the update, and it fails. I open MSE and update the definitions from there, and that works fine. The reason the Windows Update fails is apparently because the definitions it offers are out of date. This morning I was offered version 1.275.241.0 via Windows Update and got version 1.275.249.0 through MSE. I have no trouble with any other Windows Updates, only virus defintions. This is not a critical issues, as there is an easy workaround, but it is a nuisance. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

P.S. Microsoft seems to update definitions often. I just updated via MSE again and now I am at 1.275.249.0.
