Following Susan’s schedule for applying patches and feature updates to my 2 desktop Windows 10 systems. One Dell 8930, and one Dell 8940.  After Windows 10 22H2 installed last week, performance tanked on the 8930. Almost all my work is in browsers: edge, chrome, firefox and all responding very slowly, sometimes hanging. Any idea as to what happened? Thank you!

Anything third party installed that would interact with browsers?  I would review the plug ins?

What exactly did you install upgrading to 22H2 ?

Run Task Manager and look at the Performance Tab and report here any high percentages.

Thanks all for thoughts. I’m finding Windows networking issue. Speedtest.net is good downloading, but uploading is all but dead. Edge won’t upload at all, and gives up halfway through reporting “Network socket error”. Speedtest upload only 0.5Mbps with Chrome or Firefox. Should be 25Mbps. So, I’m researching how to fix Window networking socket error. Seems to have started right after Win 10 22H2 feature update. If I can’t figure out a way to fix it I’ll try backing off 22H2. Thank you for any suggestions.

Problem solved. Tried the netsh resets – no help. After diving more into my space shuttle Ethernet controller dashboard, it appears that my Killer E2400 network adapter in my Dell 8930 does not get along with 22H2. Whereas the Killer E2600 board in my Dell 8940 seems to be ok with 22H2. Solution was to turn OFF all automatic prioritization and auto-bandwidth rocket science on the E2400 board and just let the ethernet board be an ethernet board.
