My anti virus update downloads are failing (AoneAlarm) due to my connection using a proxy.

I once tried to connect to this proxy some months ago and then removed it in Internet Options>Connections>LAN Settings.

The setting for Automatically Detect Settings is True.
Use automatic config script is false
use Proxy server is false and there is no address.

Is there anywhere else the proxy may still exist?

Have you tried “unchecking” Automatically Detect Settings?
