Hello, everyone! Can you tell me if I need to clear cookies and site data on my phone? Do they take up memory? I often search for information on the Internet, but I have never cleared it. If necessary, can you tell me how to do it correctly?
I will be grateful for your help!

Cookies and site data (cache, history, etc) are browser specific. If your phone is Android and youโ€™re using Chrome:
      1. Open Chrome.
      2. Click on three vertical dots in top right (options menu).
      3. Click โ€œHistoryโ€.
      4. Click โ€œClear browsing dataโ€.
      5. Choose what do clear (browsing history, cookies and site data, cached images and files).
      6. Click โ€œClear dataโ€.

If youโ€™re using an Apple phone or a browser other than Chrome, search the Internet for your specific instructions.

As to whether you should, if you search the Internet for something like โ€œclear browsing history on android phoneโ€ youโ€™ll find discussion and recommendations. Also links to some YouTube videos.

I’ve got an Android, and I use Chrome. That’s exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot for your help!

I regularly clear all cookies and site data. Stops the ads being for stuff you have previously searched / looked at and limits sites tracking.

      cheers, Paul

I never really thought about it before, but now I’m going to make it a regular thing! Thanks.
