    It has taken me a little while to work this out, but I am *fairly sure* that the battery on my HP laptop is draining more quickly following the 1803 -> 1809 upgrade.  My guess is that it lasts around 2/3rds the time it did prior to the upgrade.

    I’ve had a basic look in task manager, and can’t see anything odd churning away.  The Power Plan settings are set to “HP recommended” which is what they were under 1803.  The applications that Windows reports are draining the battery look sensible and are in proportion to how much I use them.

    Anyway, this post is just a word of caution, although I have not noted any other 1809 issues on my systems.  If anyone has any ideas, or similar stories I’d be interested to hear them.  Otherwise, I might have to hope that an eventual driver update or Windows patch fixes this …
