    Hello all,

I have not seen the XP version yet, but I was wondering.
Is the PowerPoint Viewer XP a real XP version of just the 2000 version, so that we have the same situation we had with the PowerPoint 2000 viewer that was a 97 viewer.

      > I have not seen the XP…

and you will not see an XP viewer, still the same old 97 junky viewer. I’ll let Microsoft’s MVP Steve Rindsberg say the rest:

“Before you’re granted full “WE WANT A VIEWER AND WE WANT IT NOW Club”
membership, there’s a little initiation rite you have to participate in.
Email mswish@microsoft.com with PowerPoint Viewer as the subject and state
(politely, firmly) your reasons for needing an up-to-date viewer.

In all seriousness, please do send the email. They do read it. A few drops
of water don’t make a lot of difference until they show up on your back
porch as a tidal wave. ”

Adding my 2cents, loungers, if you read this, sent a message to Microsoft exclamation –Sam
