The title pretty says it all. I want to print a banner (probably landscape format) and 8-1/2 x 11 paper, which is all my laser printer will handle.

Can I do this in Word, besides simply letting the letters break at each page and then gluing the parts together in a reasonable estimate of proper kerning?

Word doesn’t automate the breaks in any particular way so you will need to do it how you described.

An alternative is to use something like Corel Draw which does allow you to manipulate the output and set up overlaps to enable more flexible pasting together of the output.

I was afraid of that, but I had sort of hoped it could be done.

Well, off to the graphic programs!
