• Print BCC field in sent message

When I send out messages with a BCC, it usually is an administrator address, so I don’t need any record of it in the file. However, when I send out a message to multiple clients, listing them in the BCC field, I do need a printed record. This information exists in the Sent message, but unless I am missing something, requires a good deal of futzing to print out. (I am using OL 2000, Corp Workgroup mode, but without Exchange.)

In Q195963, MS describes a procedure to select and deselect fields to print, which presumes that they are visible on the form. So, I can add the BCC field onto the form, set it to print, and then save this as a change to the message (if I don’t care to make it pretty, this doesn’t take all that long), and it will in fact print.

I would prefer, however, not to have to do this each time, and not to actually change the message itself. In theory, I would like to simply view the few messages that need this treatment on a different “form” and print them from there. Please guide me: What is the preferred method of doing this, if possible? Does it require that I choose that form when composing the message? Is there a better way?

    Thanks much for all suggestions.

when i need to print bcc display names, i open the message from sent items, hit forward, copy the bcc names to the new message and print. i could use edit > edit message but that takes a little more mouse movement and messes with the original message.

I’m lost. A printout of a forwarded message looks quite different from a printout of a sent message. (Example attached – from print preview.)

        Any other ideas, anyone?
