Print to non-AirPrint HP 1320n from iOS?

Does anyone have a good solution for this? My elderly 1320n works fine but does not support AirPrint, so I’m forced to print from my iPad to a Canon inkjet which doesn’t offer double sided printing and uses $$$$ ink. My main PC is Win 10 22H2 and does run the AirPrint Bonjour etc for the Canon inkjet, but I’m not aware if that could somehow be convinced to talk to the HP. Everything is on the same LAN subnet.

It’s a protocol inside the printer.  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03488602#AbT1

Depending on the model of the printer it may be there but just not enabled.  You’ll need to connect to the printer via it’s IP address and dig around the settings.

It doesn’t look like it will natively but you may try the app recommended there?

Thanks Susan, but my 1320n is definitely too old to support it unfortunately, and the printershare app doesn’t appear to either.  I’m too cheap to buy a whole new printer just to print from the iPad but I haven’t found a viable alternative yet. I’d have thought someone somewhere would have hit the same annoying problem and created a workable solution!
