I am trying to print 20 copies of a 7-page Word 2000 document. I am using a HPLJ 4500 (colour) with a duplexer to do it double-sided. However, the copies are not beaking onto new sheets so I get 140 continues sides. How do I get the copies to beak onto a new piece of paper?
    Cheers,

    Paul

I am not sure if I understand your exact problem, but check to make sure that the collate option is check when you are selecting the number of copies.

        Andrew,
Thaks for the reply. Let me see if I can explain any better. The document is 7 pages long and I want to print 10 copies, double-sided. This means that each document should occupy 4 sheets of paper and end in a blank side. However, the first page of the next copy is being printed on the back of the last page of the previous copy.
By the way, the collate option is selected when this is happening.

        Any more thoughts ?

The immediate solution would be to add a final blank page to ensure the document is an even number of pages long.
If you have a footer or header that you do not want printed on the last page, I think this is covered in Q211755.

If your document only contains 1 section, you could try setting the Section Start option to Odd Pages. It is available in the File|Page Setup|Layout dialog.

I have not got a duplex printer to hand right now, but I think that did the trick for me in the past.

          It’s worth a try.
