Would/could anyone be able to tell me how to print an e-mail in Outlook Express without having the headers show up? I’m sure it’s something simple, but I sure can’t figure it out. I receive monthly newsletters that I want to show to my clients, but don’t want them to see the headers that come along with them. I know who I am, and where the newsletters come from, and they don’t need to know, so why print the headers? I think I have made my point (overkill actually), so I’ll stop here, and say thanks to one and all. Take care.

To one and all. In the original post, I inadvertently wrote “with” having the headers show up. I really meant “without” having them show up. I just changed it. Ditzy me. The original was written at the end of a v-e-r-y long day. Thanks once again for your help!

hello I tend to either block the text of the email and paste it into a Word doc, then print, or if you want the email to look like an email but not with the details of origin or others copied, then just forward the email to yourself, then delete the section that shows the previous TO: FROM: CC: DATE: SUBJECT, then print. This will only show the email came from your address and no other information other than what you might insert into the SUBJECT line that is suitable for others to read. HTH

I don’t think you even have to copy and paste the text – just select the text and hit Ctrl-P for print, then choose ‘Selection’ under what to print and go. I can’t say for certain because I don’t have OE here at work, but I’m close to sure it will work.

No, sorry sorry – I tried that last night and it still put the headers first.

      Apologies for incorrect info!
