    Win-10-Update-History-14Jul2020

Update history shows that KB4560960 was successfully installed on July 6th, but since then Win 10 has tried to install it again 7 times so far. I have tried to hide KB4560960 but could not and I have tried to uninstall the version of KB4560960 which was successfully installed but there was no option to do that in my Win 10.

What should I do? Can you help please

+ Go to Control Panel\Power options (type powercfg in the search box and hit Enter)
+ On the top left click “Choose what the power buttons do
+ In the center click on “Change settings that are currently unavailable
+ Uncheck Fast Startup then click “Save settings
      + Close Control Panel
+ Restart (NOT Shutdown) your computer

See if the update will install.

What has happened, is that the Servicing Stack, which does not show in Windows Update, is bundled with the Cumulative Update and it installs first representing itself as the CU. Then the CU installs (but in your case did not finish installing) also representing itself as the CU. So it looks like the CU installs twice, but it really doesn’t. Once the insatallation is complete, it you look in Installed Updates (not History) you will see the SSU KB4560959 and the CU KB4560960 each installed only once.
