At Startup of Windows 7, I get the following message:

    Skin Image

“Menu Separator.png” found but cannot be loaded.

This is a new machine, and I am new to Windows 7. Any help you can give me in clearing this up will be appreciated.

    Thanks!

      Hello Charles,

Are you able to start Windows despite the error message? If not, I would check with the manufacturer’s support as the machine is under warranty.

If it boots normally (except for the error message), did you install any software on your computer before this error message started to appear?

A Google search revealed some folks had issues in Vista with Roxio Media Center software causing this error message.

Have you checked the Event Viewer Windows Logs – Application and System Logs for errors at the time error message shows itself?

How long have you had this PC? Have you attempted a system restore?
