I have absolutely no sympathy for Intel. They tried to blame motherboard manufacturers and users when the 13/14th generation CPU problems first emerged and finally were forced to extend warranties when it became clear this is Intel’s problem after all and they can no longer deny it. They should suffer big and hard for any financial hit that results from this mess.

Unless and until concrete evidence comes that shows these new CPUs and any future Intel CPUs will not suffer from the same problems as the 13th and 14th generation CPUs, I WILL avoid current and future Intel CPUs, and I strongly recommend others to do the same if they can.

Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst.

The New Intel Core Ultra 200V are made by TSMC (the foundry that builds Apple Silicon) and not by Intel

@Alex5723 , the link you provided goes to an article that is inaccessible without a paid subscription. Can you please provide a different link to, perhaps, a different trustworthy source of that information that’s freely accessible without requiring a subscription of any kind?

Even though these CPUs may be manufactured by TSMC and not by Intel itself, Intel still designed it to work. Being made by TSMC does not make it immune to failure. Therefore, I place the same amount of suspicion and skepticism towards them as the problematic 13th and 14th generation CPUs.

I would therefore reiterate my stance of avoiding them unless Intel can prove, and it can be independently verified, that the new CPUs will not suffer from the same problems.

Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst.
